We are continuing our tradition of giving winners and participants a major “bump” to their careers. From bragging rights, to theater bookings, to major publicity, Ladies of Laughter® truly is the “Career-Builder” for women in comedy!
Winners from each preliminary event will go on to the Grand Finale and perform before top comedy industry executives and cheering crowds on Wednesday, August 14th at 8 pm in New York City.

We are accepting nominations from this year’s contestants for an exceptionally successful woman in comedy who inspired you to do stand-up comedy.
Additionally, we would like you to nominate a woman in the comedy industry that has exhibited strong support of you and others in this demanding field. This includes someone that has recommended you to others, offered you work, and/or supports your goals.
